The idea was to turn that continuity into a race against time.
From the city to open terrain, the G-Class moves through changing landscapes and changing expressions of itself.
Not chasing time. Moving through it.
THE MAKING
Built across changing worlds.
The film moves through multiple environments, from controlled urban spaces to expansive terrain, water and dust, with each location demanding a different approach to realism.
Unreal Engine Path Tracing formed the foundation for the large-scale environments and cinematic lighting, allowing the G-Class to sit naturally within complex terrain, atmosphere and reflections.
Houdini brought the physical world to life through large-scale water and waterfall simulations, along with dust FX that respond to the vehicle and terrain.
The final images were shaped through detailed material and look development, atmospheric lighting and compositing, bringing the vehicle, environments and simulations together into a single photoreal frame.
THE FILM
A race with time.
The journey begins in the city and moves progressively into the unknown, through terrain, water, dust and changing conditions.
With every transition, the character of the G-Class shifts from refined urban presence to uncompromising capability.
The final reveal brings generations together. The past watches the present. And the icon keeps moving.
